Annual Vehicle Inspection Report

The inspection must include, at a minimum, the parts and accessories identified in 49 C.F.R. Part 396 (Appendix G). Inspections must be performed by an individual meeting the qualification requirements in 49 C.F.R. 396.19 & .25 (as applicable). A copy of the inspection report should be kept on the vehicle at all times.

Description

All commercial motor vehicles operated in interstate commerce (including trailers) must be inspected at least annually. The inspection must include, at a minimum, the parts and accessories identified in 49 C.F.R. Part 396 (Appendix G). Inspections must be performed by an individual meeting the qualification requirements in 49 C.F.R. 396.19 & .25 (as applicable).
