No slowing down for DOT's burst in offsite audits
In 2017, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) conducted a total of 329 offsite motor carrier audits, which accounted for less than 2% of its total reviews that year. This year, the agency is on pace to conduct more than 8,500, a nearly 2,500% increase in just 4 years!
